I've been on a stamping hiatus this summer for the most part, just enjoying time with my family. Now I'm ready to get back to some serious crafting! Yay!
Today's project is one that took me many attempts before I finally came up with a card that I liked. It features the Regarding Dahlias stamp set, which I fell in love with at first sight!
I really wanted to brayer with this set, but the tiny lines in the flower image did not allow the color to penetrate. So I decided to heat emboss the image with clear embossing powder on white paper, then brayer with Pink Pirouette ink. After that I took my sponge and the Strawberry Slush ink and swirled ink over the image. I absolutely love how it turned out!
The new Smoky Slate ink and ribbon are gorgeous!
